Point of view is kind of like perspective too. Point of view is basically from where you are taking a picture from. Like are you under the subject? Next to it? Where?
This photo was taken during my field trip to the Oceanside Pier. The point of view in this picture is from under the pier light.
This picture was taken during my trip to Las Vegas. I took two pictures, one from below which is the background of this page, and one from the side. This is the one from the side that I actually like how I took it.
