Framing is basically editing a picture. You frame the picture and do some editing such as putting more emphasis on certain things and deleting other things. This is done in Photoshop whenever you use it on a picture. You are framing a picture to satisfy your wants.
The framing in this picture is quite noticeable. I wanted to place a lot of emphasis onto the fly and less on the environment around it. I deleted multiple objects that may have distracted eyes and also turned the image into black and white, with only the fly in color. This is called framing.
